Due to the delicate area of the face and patients’ individual requirements, all candidates will be carefully considered through a thorough consultation. This will determine the course of action we may be able to offer and will account for factors that may affect the dermal filler, once placed, including: propensity for swelling, water retention, diet (salt intake) and sleeping habits (side sleepers). Obtaining the best results is our priority and we will only treat someone we believe will benefit from the procedure and will achieve the results they desire. Alternative methods may be recommended to treat this area.

During the procedure, we ensure every step is taken to keep you as comfortable as possible. We use local anaesthetic with the filler so that any sensitivity is minimal.

Our practitioners are skilled, experienced professionals, however minor lumps, swelling, puffiness or bruising is possible. These effects are only temporary and generally last up to 48 hours. More rarely the injections can cause longer-lasting redness under the eye. Complications will usually improve and resolve with time and we use non-permanent filler that is reversible. Due to the delicate nature of the eye area, there may be some sensitivity experienced for up to 48 hours after the treatment. You should be able to continue with your day as normal following the treatment.
