Teoxane Redensity 1 vs babyGLOW™: Same Product, Two Techniques. Which Is Right for You?
Here is the fact most clinic pages skip: Teoxane babyGLOW™ and Redensity 1 are the same product. babyGLOW™ is Teoxane's new, standardised way of injecting Redensity 1: eight points on each side of the face, 3ml in total, placed just under the skin so the gel spreads on its own. The classic Redensity 1 treatment uses the same syringe but places it as dozens of tiny micro-injections wherever the skin needs it, including the eye area, neck, chest and hands. Which you should have depends on what you want from your skin, and this guide from NassifMD Medical Spa, MediaCityUK sets out the difference properly.

What is Redensity 1?
Teosyal Puresense Redensity 1 is a non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 15mg per ml, combined with Teoxane's dermo-restructuring complex: eight amino acids, three antioxidants, two minerals and vitamin B6, with lidocaine for comfort. Because it is not cross-linked it does not hold shape or add volume. It hydrates the skin from within and feeds the cells that build collagen, which is why it is used for skin quality rather than contouring. It comes in a 3ml syringe, so one syringe covers the whole face in a session.
How the classic Redensity 1 treatment is injected
In the standard technique your practitioner places the gel as a grid of tiny deposits, no more than 0.05ml each and roughly a centimetre apart, into the upper to mid layer of the skin. That can mean fifty to a hundred small injections across the face, or linear threads of product laid down as the needle is withdrawn. Some clinics use a multi-needle booster device instead. The point is coverage: every part of the treated area receives product, so it suits fine lines, crepey texture and dehydration wherever they are, including the delicate skin around the eyes, the neck, the décolletage and the hands. The trade-off is more needle marks and small bumps that can take a few days to settle, and bruising is more likely around the eyes.
How babyGLOW™ is injected
babyGLOW™ was developed by Teoxane with more than twenty injectors across six countries and presented at the IMCAS congress in Paris in January 2026. Instead of a grid, it uses eight anatomically defined points on each side of the face: the tail of the brow, in front of the ear, the cheekbone, the mid-cheek, the jawline and the marionette area. Roughly 0.2ml goes into each point, 0.1ml at the brow, so a full face uses the whole 3ml syringe and only sixteen injections.
The product is placed in the immediate subdermis, the layer just beneath the skin, where Redensity 1's fluidity lets it spread evenly on its own. Teoxane's 3D imaging showed the gel diffusing within thirty minutes of injection, and ultrasound after the first session confirmed it stays where it is placed. The points are chosen to maximise how the skin reflects light and to avoid the face's danger zones, which is why many patients see a glow within the appointment and why bumps settle in hours rather than days.

Which is better, Redensity 1 or babyGLOW™?
They do different jobs with the same gel.
- Choose babyGLOW™ if you want radiance across the cheeks and mid-face, a quick appointment and almost no downtime. It is the treatment to have before an event or a holiday, and it suits patients from their late twenties who want a lit-from-within finish without changing their features.
- Choose classic Redensity 1 if the problem is specific: crepey or dark under-eye skin, lines around the mouth, a crepey neck, sun-damaged chest or ageing hands. babyGLOW™ does not treat those areas; the classic technique does.
- Have both if you want the face and the areas babyGLOW™ leaves out. A common plan is babyGLOW™ on the face with classic Redensity 1 under the eyes or on the neck in the same course.
Which is better for under the eyes?
Classic Redensity 1. The babyGLOW™ points sit on the cheeks and jaw, not the eye contour. If the problem is a hollow or shadow caused by lost volume rather than skin quality, the answer is usually tear trough filler, which is a different Teoxane product (Redensity 2), and your consultation will tell you which applies to you.
How much do Redensity 1 and babyGLOW™ cost in Manchester?
At NassifMD, classic Redensity 1 is £195 a session or £550 for a course of three. babyGLOW™ is £300 a session or £800 for a course of three; the higher price reflects the full 3ml syringe used at every session. Both are on our price list, and the plan is confirmed at your consultation before you book treatment.
How long do the results last?
With either technique, results build over the course and last around four to six months, depending on your skin, sun exposure, smoking and skincare. Teoxane recommends a maintenance session every four to six months for the classic treatment; babyGLOW™ patients tend to book every three to six months, younger skin less often.
Downtime and side effects
babyGLOW™ leaves sixteen small raised bumps that usually flatten within a couple of hours, and at most by the next day. Classic Redensity 1 leaves more needle marks and bumps, which can take two to three days to settle, and bruising is more likely around the eyes, so book at least two weeks before an event. With both, avoid make-up for a few hours and strenuous exercise, saunas and alcohol for 24 hours.
Redensity 1, babyGLOW™ and Profhilo: how do all three compare?
Profhilo is a different product altogether: a very high concentration of hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue and remodels it, so it is the choice for firmness and laxity. Redensity 1, by either technique, is the choice for hydration, fine lines and glow. We compare babyGLOW™ and Profhilo in babyGLOW™ vs Profhilo.

Frequently asked questions
Is babyGLOW™ a filler?
No. It uses non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid that does not hold shape or add volume. It improves the quality of the skin, not the shape of the face.
How many injections is babyGLOW™?
Sixteen: eight on each side of the face. The classic Redensity 1 technique uses many more, smaller injections across the treated area.
How much product is used?
babyGLOW™ uses one 3ml syringe per session, 1.5ml per side. Classic Redensity 1 uses 1ml to 3ml depending on how many areas are treated.
Can I have babyGLOW™ and classic Redensity 1 in the same session?
Yes, in different areas: babyGLOW™ on the face and classic Redensity 1 under the eyes, on the neck or on the hands.
Does it hurt?
Redensity 1 contains lidocaine, and most patients describe both techniques as a series of small scratches. babyGLOW™ is quicker, with fewer injections.
Is Redensity 1 the same as Redensity 2?
No. Redensity 1 is the skin booster described here. Redensity 2 is a filler designed for the tear trough.
